Volunteer OpportunitiesUBC Farm
Learn first-hand about organic farming, local food security, and running a farmer’s market. Help preserve a beautiful piece of farmland right in the city’s backyard. Psychology labs are always looking for capable volunteers looking for research experience, check out the bulletin board in Kenny. Computer Science Do some research about your favourite professors field. Try and strike up a conversation about volunteering or working with them. Be sure to know your stuff. |
How Do I Start?Ask your favorite professor if they know of a volunteer opportunity. The large majority of professors do research as well as teach.
Student Biotech Network Science Tri-Mentoring Program Vancouver Hospital Volunteers work in acute care, one-on-one visits, emergency, gift-shop, library, extended care, and physiotherapy. Positions are once a week, regular hours. Call 604-822-7384 for information. |
